Peacock green is not borrowed from anywhere. It exists in its own depth ā the colour of still water under forest shade, of a feather caught in light. This Jamdani linen suit carries that same quality. Woven on a handloom in West Bengal, the motifs emerge from within the fabric, not printed on top of it.
Each Jamdani set is woven in small batches. When this weave sells out, it will not be repeated.
